Sensible...good enough detection rate of the free anti virus software apps. But the way the market is goin can you honestly see AVg being free much longer, I certainly dont.

i have avg, and i think it is the best, :bigsmile: but i also am very careful about what i download dft003 . i say learn the viruses out there and then you will know what sort of programs they will be in, and also use internet settings to block pop ups and 3rd party websites :wink:

Ive had loads trying to attack my computer, But my antivirus finds them before they get into my computer :D
Mostly Trojans though.

So you could download something, eg. a sneaky bot. A trojan replicates itself to different locations and then stops.

You wouldn't even know as no processes would be running afterwards.

Then connected out as you have no firewall.

I dont see why you wouldnt have anything, no harm in it. Anyone got kaspersky, newest one, cracked and all? (i wanna get it)

Get McAfee nub :p.

& I don't think trojans replicate I think they are spread manually.

i have never had a virus on my laptop wich i have had for over 2months and i have Norton 360 , it's great.
