Yep, you can tell becuase they sign in (its not really them, and there wont be a picture by their name) then they send some weblink then quickly signs out.

I dont really know how it works tbqh, becuase my mate was round my house, and his computer was off at home, and he signed on and left a web adress.Yet he was with me.?
