ive just created a basic spam bot for msn and i need your help since its my first ever bot what file type do you save it as and how do you put a background colour in to it

To make it exe click File then click make Project1.exe its near bottom and to change background color click the form titlebar then go to properties box and look for back color then click palete then choose a colour look in my screenshot if u dont understand the color bit..

it dosent let me click on save as .exe

click file then click make <filename>.exe and then take a pic of what ya mean i dont know what error u are getting but way u make it to exe is click file>make project1.exe

If you are using portable edition i think you need to add a reg key to allow .exe creation?.

i am using portable and how do u add a reg key

some vb6 dont need to add a reg but if yours does then it should say

add reg key (allows exe creation)
run visual basic 6

hmm look in my screenshot coz some vb6 portables dont need to have reg keys
