PC wont recognise pc games

my pc aint recognisin any of my pc games. it recently had to new hard drives installed(dell xps) and it used to play them no problem. anyone any ideas?

| try reinstalling the games again.. see if that helps.. the location of the game changed in your harddrive maybe when u got new drives.. explain more .. post a screenshot of your problem

when i stick it in nothin happens i cant even install the games.then when i go to my computer>devices with removable storage>dvd rw drive(cd drive) nothing shows up there.wat do i take the screenshot of thers nothing to see .

Go to Start Control Panel System Hardware Device Manager Then expand 'DVD/CD Rom Drive' What is displayed under that? _________________ 9 out of 10 times you don't know what the fuck you're talking about

| sometimes the shops which sell pc's take out the factory fitted drives and replace them with fucked up ones.. then to get it repaired u have to go to the same shop.. and they earn more.. happens in my country.. lol.. get ur pc checked... or try other copies of the game.. and sometimes if you are on a laptop the software for your drive needs to be installed before you can use it.. but getting your pc checked would be my first suggestion.. maybe its lacking a software..

o__O I had this problem, too.
The CD/DVD wasn't showing in My Computer. In otherwords, it didn't recognise the Drive I spent all day on the phone to Toshiba, and eventually they told me i had the reboot my PC. Lost loads of my stuff, but the problem was fixed. You could try that. +REP if this works  It's usually a driver problem, _________________  Top |

i know a guy who knows alot about computers and its him who fixes it and does all the antivirus etc... to it so il get in touch with him again and ask him.. thanks pulse that post makes me feel better cause atleast i know that it might not be fucked  thanks again guys to everyone who posted ur all great......
