Close KS (turn it off).
Download this file:

(Its a registry key you can check it if you want)

Open the registrykey and click yes.

Now go to the folder Kaspersky is located in, usually "C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Labs\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009" and open "avp.exe".

It'll prompt you for an activation and choose "Trial Activation". Wait a moment, and your trial version of KAV will be renewed.
