This is being caused by new updates on vista from the over 9000/over 9000/08...
A lot of people all of a sudden are having problems when right clicking which is causing explorer to crash and restart so the operating system is pretty much useless without tools like right click A simple system restore to a point before the problems start should resolve the issue as it did for me. Below is an explanation as to why its happening and another solution if system restore fails The explanation on why the error occurs Vista has its problems just like any operating system but vista’s errors are hitting the average user as well. The ability to right click has been a windows users power tool for years and when that gets taken away people get pretty pissed of. The vista right click bug is not a bug directly linked to microsoft’s shitty coding and can be blamed on pretty much every software programmer that doesn’t have a vista sticker. The bug is caused by invalid shell extensions which piss up the operating system…which does link back to microsoft’s shitty coding. To sort out even more of the problems instead of the basic uninstall and re-install any program that has a shell extension (I touched on this before and it saved me) then you may want to check out the following website as it talks about a more in depth route. http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm _________________ PSN - mike0491![]() ![]() 1.2 Zetec
